Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for there is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of the thirsting gods.
Thus been, needlessly poetical, for my taste, told by someone who's name i didn't bother to remember, i must add that, ironically, those of us who are aware that he, indeed, is quite right, must keep their faith and their hope, for if they ever would succumb to despair, all that stands will be on the way to ruin. And by "those who aware", i mean you.
