+++PLANETARY DATA+++
Lo
CLASS: Hive World.
SUBSECTOR: Drusus Marches
POPULATION: estimated 5,000,000,000 spread about four continents
PLANETARY GOVERNOR: Loose conglomerate of bureaucrats and cartel-lords known as the Reasoning; tithes are managed by a representative, appointed by voting anew each tithe-cycle.
ADEPTAS PRESENCE: High Ecclesiarchy presence, with numerous holdings in Hive Dredd and on all continents.

Lo is notably self-sufficient for a Hive World, and that is because the planet houses only one true Hive-city, the rest of the surface is given to industry and agriculture. Settlements of somewhat meaningful size are present, but not relevant to the world's politics. The one true Hive-city, Hive Dredd, is surrounded by a "suburbia" of sorts(local name "The Gardens"), consisting of private mansions and hunting grounds of the wealthy, with other sorts of recreation readily available. Privately funded mercenary armies(registered as the planet's PDF) enforce the law and guard the Gardens against undesirables from the main Hive.
Hive Spires are given to The Reasoning meeting halls, different Adepta's holdings and headquarters of the most influential industry-cartels.
