- Cypher
- 1st-level abjuration (wizard, sorcerer, cleric, bard, warlock)
- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: touch
- Components: V, S
- Duration: indefinite or until dispelled
- You scramble the magical properties of an object in a certain way, that prevents anyone to be able to change its state (like activating, opening, etc.) unless they posses the cypher glyph sequence that you use to lock it. You remember the sequence for a week and you are able to scribe it onto a scroll as you would scribe a spell.
- You restore the object to normal when you cast it on a cyphered target, if you know or are in possession of the glyph sequence scroll used to lock it. Most common uses for this spell are sealed correspondence, magical locks (Arcane Lock) and teleportation circle targeting restriction.
- Dispel Magic destroys the cypher, however it does not restore the object function. That can be achieved by other means. Cypher can be completely negated by Wish spell.
- At Higher Levels. As per description of Dispel Magic, using a 4th or higher level slot makes it more difficult to dispel. Each additional level also increases the DC to restore object proper function.
- Arcane Jamming
- 1st-level evocation (wizard, sorcerer, cleric, bard, warlock)
- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: 60 ft
- Components: V, S, M (a small ratchet)
- Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
- You agitate a flow of eldritch emissions around a three targets you can see within range. As a result, they are unable to send or receive messages using Message cantrip or Sending spell. Additionally effects of Rary’s Telepathic Bond spell on targets are suppressed for the duration. The link established by Telepathy spell is filled with noise but otherwise isn't affected.
- At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st.
- Detect Flow
- 1st-level divination (ritual) (wizard, sorcerer, cleric, bard, ranger, paladin, warlock)
- Casting Time: 1 action
- Range: Self
- Components: V, S
- Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes
- For the duration you sense the pattern of the local eldritch emissions flow and can identify the streams. If you sense flow in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that interacts with it and determine if it is a hexspawn.
- The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by anything that blocks eldritch emissions, such as at least 1 inch of metal or a flow sail.
- Metal Shape
- 4th-level transmutation (cleric, druid, wizard)
- Casting time: 1 action
- Range: Touch
- Components: V,S,M(soft clay, which must be worked into roughly the desired shape of the metal object)
- Duration: Instantaneous
- You touch a metal object of Medium size or smaller or a section of metal no more than 5 feet in any dimension and form it into any shape that suits your purpose.
- So, for example, you could shape a large chunk of scrap metal into a weapon, idol, or coffer, or make a small passage through a wall, as long as the wall is less than 5 feet thick.
- You could also shape a metal door or its frame to seal the door shut. The object you create can have some mechanical detail, but the minimum size is limited to about third of a foot.
- Using this on lead requires you succeed on an ability check using your spellcasting ability. DC equals to 10+largest dimension of the object in feet.
